Shoprite has officially opened applications for the Shoprite Money Market YES Programme 2026, a structured 12-month workplace experience aimed at helping young South Africans gain real, practical exposure in retail, sales, and financial services.

This programme is delivered in partnership with West Coast College and forms part of the national Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative. It is specifically designed for youth who have completed relevant post-school qualifications but lack the workplace experience needed to secure long-term employment.

For many young people, the challenge after studying is not ability, but access. This programme directly addresses that gap by placing participants inside real Shoprite store environments where they support the Shoprite Money Market Account and develop job-ready skills.
