Cashbuild is seeking a dedicated and energetic General Assistants. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading retail company known for its commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
–Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by assisting customers with product selection, addressing queries, and resolving complaints.
–Merchandising: Ensure stock is displayed according to store layout and planograms. Maintain a well-organized and safe bulk stock area.
–Housekeeping: Keep your designated area clean, ensure stock is merchandised promptly, and maintain safety standards to prevent hazards.
–Safety Compliance: Adhere to OHSA regulations, use safety gear, and ensure both staff and customer safety within your area.
–Stock Management: Report damaged stock and manage inventory effectively to minimize loss.
–Performance: Achieve set targets, adhere to company standards, and resolve problems efficiently.
Requirements:
-Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 with at least one year of relevant work experience, or Grade 12 without related experience.
-Proficiency in English and the dominant language of the area.
-Valid South African ID or work permit.
-Basic arithmetic skills.
-Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
-Ability to work under pressure.
