What You Will Do:
Branch Growth
Achieve targets in line with Branch budgets.
Engage with guests to educate them on Branch products.
Ensure betting boards are updated throughout the day.
Stay informed about game rules, odds, and payouts.
Assist guests by taking customer bets when required.
Visit outlets as per the call cycle.
Cash Administration
Manage cash within the Branch according to policies to minimize risks.
Educate the team on FICA compliance.
Ensure banking schedules are submitted daily.
Ensure cash balances are accurately reconciled at the close of each shift.
Branch Reporting
Provide daily newsflashes to summarize operations.
Maintain stock control and account for shortages.
Conduct weekly stock takes and report shortages promptly.
Security Management
Ensure security protocols are followed when opening and closing the Branch.
Ensure all security measures, such as cameras and panic buttons, are functioning.
Branch Appearance
Maintain a clean and organized Branch in line with Hollywood standards.
Report any issues with terminals, equipment, or resources immediately.
Compliance
Ensure adherence to internal control policies, Gambling Board requirements, and company ethics.
Confirm a registered FICA officer is on-site during operating hours.
Maintain a professional appearance in the Hollywood uniform.
Communication
Ensure operational updates, marketing campaigns, and key information are shared with the team.
Follow proper communication channels and provide feedback promptly.
People Management
Manage team schedules to meet operational requirements.
Monitor attendance and behavior in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
Submit recruitment documentation on time to HR.
Guest Service
Provide excellent service, always being friendly, helpful, and courteous.
Address guest complaints proactively and build strong relationships with regulars.
Encourage a culture of providing service with a smile.
What You Will Bring:
Minimum 6 months of experience in the Gaming or Betting industry.
A relevant Diploma, Degree, or NQF 4 Learnership is preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
1-2 years of leadership experience (advantageous).
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sharp attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
Impressive people management and leadership abilities.
Experience with marketing management and operating systems like Mobile TUV and Betting Procedures.
