Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

As a Food Service Aid, you will be at the heart of the kitchen operations, ensuring that food service runs smoothly and efficiently. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing catering support services to assist chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Managing inventory of kitchen utensils and equipment to prevent losses or damage.
  • Implementing hygiene and safety measures in all food preparation and handling processes.
  • Ensuring quality control of all food items served to maintain health standards.
  • Disposing of garbage and maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas.
  • Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages such as tea, coffee, milk, and soft drinks.
  • Setting up and transporting crockery, cutlery, and equipment to designated dining areas.
  • Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously.
  • Monitoring food supplies and promptly reporting any waste or shortages.
