Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and hands-on Automation Technicians with strong installation and execution experience within the Food and Beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site automation system installations, commissioning, and technical support in fast-paced industrial environments.

This role is ideal for technically strong individuals who thrive on site-based work, value quality workmanship, and maintain strict safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build, install, and commission industrial automation systems, including control panels, electrical wiring, and mechanical components
  • Interpret, modify, and apply electrical schematics to ensure accurate system installation and functionality
  • Perform panel building and wiring in accordance with design specifications and industry standards
  • Conduct hot works such as grinding, welding, and metal fabrication when required
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find PLCs, robotic systems, and industrial automation equipment
  • Operate hand and power tools to ensure precise and high-quality installations
  • Collaborate with project specialists and technical teams to meet tight project deadlines
  • Travel locally and internationally for site installations and project support
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and site-specific requirements
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients regarding progress, challenges, and solutions

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualification: Electrical, Millwright, Mechatronic, or Instrumentation
  • Proven experience in industrial installations, including cabling, panels, and field devices
  • Exposure to Food & Beverage industry standards (highly advantageous)
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments with strict timelines
  • Basic understanding of control systems and equipment integration
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Hands-on, practical mindset with a commitment to quality and safety
  • Comfortable with site-based and travel-intensive work
