Important: This is a core academic tutoring role and NOT an ESL position.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking qualified and passionate Online Tutors to deliver Mathematics OR English and Sciences to FET Phase learners (Grades 10–12). You will teach small groups of students from partner UK schools using advanced online teaching platforms.
This role is ideal for experienced teachers or tutors who are confident in virtual instruction and committed to academic excellence.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Teaching Hours:
UK Time: 09:00 – 15:00
South Africa Time: 10:00 – 16:00 - Weekly Commitment: 10–15 hours per week
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote (work from home)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver engaging, structured, and curriculum-aligned online lessons
- Teach small groups across multiple UK schools
- Prepare lesson plans and adapt learning materials to student needs
- Support learners to improve academic performance and confidence
- Use digital teaching tools to enhance lesson delivery
- Develop personalized teaching strategies for diverse learners
- Maintain a professional teaching environment and online presence
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be based in South Africa (DfE compliance requirement)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant subject field)
- Minimum 1 year teaching or tutoring experience
- Valid SAPS Police Clearance
- South African or UK teaching certification/licence
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps)
- Load-shedding contingency plan
- Headset with microphone
- Driver’s licence and passport (for DBS processing)
